2013 Stonyfield Earth Day 5K
Congratulations to one and all! The 2013 Stonyfield Earth Day 5K and Fair was a huge success. Many thanks to all the runners and walkers who participated. Special thanks go out to the volunteers, police, EMT and, of course, the 65 vendors who provided food, drink and fun for all of us. The day was made possible by our special host Stonyfield Farm – three cheers for them!

Yogurt on a misson
In line with Stonyfield’s mission, portions of the race’s proceeds will go to three worthy causes.
NH Nongame and Endangered Wildlife Program
In 2008, Stonyfield became the first private land owner to create and maintain habitat for the state endangered New England Cottontail rabbit. This year, in addition to maintaining habitat for the state’s largest population of endangered rabbits, Stonyfield will be donating a portion of race proceeds to New Hampshire’s Nongame and Endangered Wildlife Program to help support species conservation efforts.
Life is good’s Playmakers Organization
Additionally, a portion of proceeds will go to Life is good’s Playmakers Organization which provides education and resources to childcare professionals to ensure that children grow up feeling safe, loved and joyful.

Finally, local Londonderry High School students will receive college scholarships.
