FAQ

Be sure to read the entire Event Details page in addition to this FAQ to make sure you have all the necessary info about the Stonyfield 5k & Fair!

Packet pickup/registration is from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., so we suggest arriving no later than 8:30 a.m. to ensure you have time to park, pick up your bib, and get to the starting line before 10 a.m.
Please plan to line up in the start corral by 9:45 a.m. (the race starts at 10).
All participants in the 5K road race, regardless of age, must be a registered runner.
Kids ten and under can participate in the free kids’ obstacle course race.
Yes! We simply ask that you obey the rules of the course and walk no more than two people abreast so that others may pass easily. Walkers will start at the same time as runners but must start at the back of the pack.
Because wearing headphones greatly reduces your ability to hear race marshals and car traffic, we strongly discourage their use on the course.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the course or at the fair for safety reasons.
Yes! We simply ask that you start at the back of the pack for safety reasons.
The course will be CLOSED TO TRAFFIC during the race, and Harvey Road will be closed to all traffic from Pettengill Road to High Range Road from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Please do not attempt to drive on the course during the race.
Prizes are awarded to the top three men and women finishers overall, and to the top three men and women in the following categories: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Prizes will not be mailed and must be picked up at the red “Awards” tent after the race.
We’re sorry, but there are no refunds, transfers or deferrals.
Yes, There will be a free self-serve bag check area near the registration tent that is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Articles of clothing that are left unclaimed after the race will be donated to a local homeless shelter. Loco Races and Stonyfield Organic are not liable for any losses or theft that runners may incur. Please be sure to pick up your bag by noon.
There are no changing facilities or showers available, so please show up ready to run.
The entire course is spectator-friendly, but the best spots would be along Burton Drive and near Aviation Drive.
Shirts are available in women’s (S-XL) and men’s (S-XXL) sizes. You select a size during online registration but we allow you to choose a different size at packet pick-up because we know that sometimes shirts fit a little differently than you expected. However, because people can change their minds at the last minute, we don’t actually know how many of each size to order. We do our best to estimate (and we even order extras), but sometimes we run out of a particular size. So, if it’s really important that you get a specific size, be sure to arrive at packet pick-up as early as possible on Saturday.
